How to join by using SMS

Participants are required to send in their Chinese New Year wishes via SMS to 36828, with the following format: YCS<space>your wishes.

How to join by using Facebook

1. Login Facebook. If you do not have an account, please apply one.
2. To participate in this Contest, the participant must participate in our application: http://apps.facebook.com/yuensms
3. After answering all quetions press the “Submit” button.

Either way can be also participate in our SMS contest.

Participation & Qualifying Criteria

1. This Contest will run from 1st January 2011 to 12nd February 2010.
2. This Contest is open to all Malaysian residents above 18 years of age as of 1st January 2010.
3. Participants may send in more than one (1) SMS entry BUT each winner is entitled to one prize only.
4. The following groups of persons shall not be eligible to participate in this Contest:

• • Employees of the organiser and Muar Yuen Chen Siang [including its affiliated and related companies] and their immediate family members
  • Representatives, employees, and/or agents of advertising and/or promotion service providers of the organiser and Muar Yuen Chen Siang [including its affiliated and related companies], and their immediate family members.

Rights of the Organiser

1. Reward ceremony will be held on 15th February 2011. The organisers have the right to make necessary changes.
2. Winners will be notified after the end of the contest period. If the winner fails to contact organizer before 14th February 2011, he/she will be disqualified.
3. Winners are required to show their identification document to the organiser.
4. If the winners cannot attend the reward ceremony, he/she can find a representative. The representative must also show the winner’s indentification document.
5. If the organisers choose to mail or courier the prize to winners, the organisers will not take any responsible on any accident happens.

Other Terms & Conditions

1. The cost of sending SMS is at normal rate and the cost of receiving SMS is at 50 sen/SMS.
2. By participating in this Contest, participants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by this Contest Rules and Regulations, and the decisions of the Organiser, which are final and binding.
3. Prizes mentioned are subject to availability. In the event of unavailability, the Organizer may substitute a prize with another of equivalent value.
4. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash

Liability & Responsibility

1. Any personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses that are incurred in the participation of this Contest, especially in the collection of prizes are the sole responsibility of the participants and the winners.
2. The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel this Contest in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the Organiser, despite the best efforts of the Organiser.
3. The Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant that is found or suspected of tampering with the Contest Application, the operation of this Contest or to be in violation of the Conditions of Access of the Website.
4. The Organiser reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual it believes has undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to this online Contest, the Contest submission process, the Website and/or Facebook Apps.
5. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to the Organiser and not to Facebook.
